OK - I thought I would check the measurements this morning - I have seen a few posts where some people didn't lose weight but lost in cms instead - so I thought I would give it a go.
the results were as posted I lost over all 25 cms in a month - this has got to be good yes?????
So, feeling better now - and can only hope I will lose tomorrow.
the talk on the scales this week made me think about mine - we only just bought them in Safeway - different weight every day ( I am a daily weigher) _ I told my hubbie he suggests we get a pair of the Tania ( I think that is them) pair - what a man - he really is totally behinbd this weight loss thing and he is also ready to go down in portion sizes as well. woooohooooo - different results next week for sure.
Thanks for the lift up Bella it helped a lot - I will check those portion sizes and also the water intake, exercise is fine -it must be the eating - thanks for the tip - when you get low you don't think of those things do you? I hope I can help someone else in these circumstances sometime.
Until tomorrow

ReplyDeleteI own ww scales, they are not bad...but the tatania (I think thats how its spelt) I believe are top of the range and very good!
Hi Ros,
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel sweetie - I've been having a couple of bad weeks. I'm so disappointed in myself for not trying harder.
I have arranged with some friends to have our own Biggest Loser comp (but doing WW eating) and see who loses the most each week.
We needed something to mix it up a little bit.
As for your gains, plateauing is very common, but also VERY frustrating. Especially when you're trying so hard.
A tip I can offer, which I was given from the boards last time I did WW, was to be very careful with your salt intake - as it makes you retain fluid. Perhaps you are retaining a bit of fluid and that could be playing a small part in the plateau. Of course there are many reasons why it evens out (it could even be that you're starting to build lean muscle because you're exercising - and muscle is heavier than fat), so please keep that in mind too.
While it's extremely hard to keep focussed when you're trying so hard yet not getting the results you want, please remember the end result - you CAN do this. And you WILL get through this plateau.
Just need to work out a way to shake it up a bit - and kickstart it again :)
(listen to me giving advice when all's I've been doing is eating like a pig the last few weeks!! haha)...
Good luck sweetie - please don't give in - you're my 10kgs buddy, we need each other!!
Thinking of you xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
